Who we are

We are an environmental consulting firm: our mission is to restore the balance between humans and nature, and we do this through the use of science, innovation and good governance. We support public and private entities to improve the environmental, social and economic impacts of policies, projects and investments on the ground. As a spin-off of the University of Padua, we work locally and internationally bringing scientific innovation into everyone’s lives.

At Etifor we like teamwork, we work hard and we never stop being curious. Being part of the team means sharing our values and the path we have taken to be a discrimination-free work environment (find out more in the Ethical Management System). For us, the only thing that really matters is how green your heart is: we welcome and value (bio)diversity in all its forms!

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for:

  • a new colleague who is passionate for scientific dissemination;
  • a transversal communicator capable not only of writing but also of devising and organising promotional activities;

Are you the right person? Send your application by 15.01.2023!

We are looking for a person to take care of the communication activities of Etifor’s national and European projects. Forest conservation, climate and biodiversity projects aim to help people and institutions take action against the climate crisis.

Responsibilities

In particular, you will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Organising events and communication activities planned by the project (e.g. events, webinars, etc.)
  • Monitor communication activities and propose new solutions.

You will be involved in two projects: LIFE Brenta 2030 and LIFE ClimatePositive.

The educational background says a lot about a person but only some things. If you have the right spirit, knowledge and skills for this role, send in your application!

Experience:

More important to us than your experience is your passion. Of course, if you have one or more years of work behind you in communication and content creation and social profile management, the information will undoubtedly be helpful to us.

ONLY SEND YOUR APPLICATION IF…

  • When you read what we do, you think, “finally, I will be able to get involved in science dissemination and communicate as I care about it”.
  • You can understand and write in English “without the help of google translator, deepl.com or your very best international friend, of course”;
  • Looking at the bit.ly/etifor-team page made you want to get to know us;
  • You will spend at least 30 minutes before sending us your CV to understand what we do and write a motivational letter that will move our hearts and brains.

IT WOULD BE EVEN BETTER IF…

  • Italian grammar has no secrets for you, and neither does English grammar :-);
  • you were passionate about science and wrote for passion;
  • you know some of these tools: WordPress, Google Analytics, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, G Suite, Meta Business Manager;
