We are an environmental consulting company. What’s our purpose? We put nature at the heart of decision-making by developing science-based solutions.

Who we are looking for?

A new colleague for the Marketing & Communication team who will mainly be responsible for creating content for social media and organising events for WOWnature®.

WOWnature is an initiative that enables citizens, organisations, and companies to grow new forests and protect existing ones, in full compliance with the strictest standards of responsible forest management. Read the full ad for details and apply no later than 28 May 2023.

Job responsibilities

The candidate will be part of the Marketing & Communication Unit and will be responsible for the following activities:

  • WOWnature editorial plan (according to the brand’s communication and marketing strategy).
  • Text, graphics, and content for social media
  • Photos and videos
  • Event organisation (the team organises tree planting events involving people, organisations, and companies and other awareness-raising events. The new college will be in charge of logistics, invitations, and communication in collaboration with other team members). This role involves travelling and activities at weekends (you would make up the time in the following days). Flexibility and a driving licence are required.

Educational background

We do not require a degree in a specific subject area, but degrees in the following areas: languages, communication, marketing, or related training courses, will be positively valued.

Experience

There is no minimum experience required for this role but of course, if you have one or more years of work in this field behind you, the information will be useful.

Skills

Technical skills required:

  • Excellent knowledge of major social media (e.g. Facebook, Linkedin, Instagram, TikTok, Youtube).
  • Excellent knowledge of Italian (written and oral) and online and offline writing techniques.
  • Good knowledge of English. No official certifications are required, but the language level will be tested during the interview, and only candidates with a level of English B2 or higher will be considered.
  • Basic/intermediate photography and video production skills (shooting and editing).
  • Basic graphic design skills (e.g. Canva).

Transversal skills required:

  • Creativity and problem-solving approach.
  • Courtesy and positive communication with colleagues and customers.

Contract information

Start: July 2023
Location: the smart-working contract envisages alternating remote and on-site work (our office is in Piazza A. De Gasperi n. 41, Padova, Italy). For this role, the days of on-site presence are approximately 2-3 per week.
Length: 3 years (apprendistato, under 30) or 1 year (over 30), to become permanent
Starting gross salary range: depending on experience and contract type.
Contract type: Full time contract (CCNL Commercio)
