Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a person interested in the connections between local development, sustainable tourism, social innovation and participatory approaches. The person should be capable of coordinating projects independently and available to travel on a regular basis to meet stakeholders and project partners (located mainly but not only in Veneto).

About the job
The selected candidate will work in direct contact with the top management of the company and will be in charge of:
- Plan and manage the Local Development Program, support strategy development and its implementation.
- Support pipeline and delivery of consultancy activities and EU and regional grants and project development.
- Conduct research and knowledge transfer activities within complex local development projects in rural and natural areas, tourism and destination management, social innovation, public-private governance, participation, local development policies.
- Establish and maintain existing networks for local development at regional, national and international levels (Destination Management Organisations, Local Action Groups, RDP Operational Groups, European Cooperation).
Weekly travels to rural areas of Veneto (mostly) and near by regions are required; for this reason, you will need to be autonomous/independent when travelling.
Qualification, experiences and skills required
Educational background
Master’s degrees or PhD in Economics, Social or Environmental Sciences. Other degrees will be evaluated if backed up by relevant experience.
Experience
At least 4 years’ experience in at least one of the following roles:
- EU or regional funded Project Manager or Grant writer (Horizon, Erasmus+, Interreg, FSE, FESR, etc.)
- Facilitation & stakeholder engagement (DMO, Local Action Groups, RDP Operational Groups, European Cooperation)
- Other roles within public-private agencies in relation to environmental, rural development, urban policy, planning, etc. (Regional agencies, Local Action Groups, etc.)
Skills
Here are the skills we are looking for, if you think you have some or all of them, send us your application.
- Project management.
- High level of self organization and work planning.
- High level of interpersonal skills.
- Facilitation and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent knowledge of Office and Google Workspace suites.
- Excellent Italian & English, another foreign language is a plus.

Contract Start Date
Asap, from April 2022
Location

Contract type
● 1-year fixed term contract (with the possibility of becoming permanent);
● Starting gross salary range: depending on experience and contract type within CCNL salary range, 4 or 3 level CCNL Commercio. Salary adjustments may be discussed during the first interview.
● Full time contract. Smart-work and telework arrangements may be discussed during the first interview.
