Water resource management has entered the strategic agenda of businesses, financial institutions, and public bodies: setting water targets, adopting water stewardship practices, and participating in collective actions at catchment scale are concrete steps that some organizations have already taken. The 2026 edition offers the opportunity to engage directly with those who have already walked this path, including representatives from the Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS) and numerous other national and international organizations, who will share experiences and case studies. During the conference, the Lombardy Water Resilience Initiative will also be officially launched. A unique event for those who want to explore tools and collaboration opportunities between the private sector, finance, and public administration.
Business for Biodiversity Italy is the national network of companies and financial institutions committed to biodiversity protection. Founded in Milan in 2023 on the occasion of the European Business & Nature Summit, the network was established by Etifor, the Forum for Sustainable Finance, and Regione Lombardia, in collaboration with the European platform EU Business @ Biodiversity. Its goal is to build a community of organizations that share a vision, tools, and concrete commitments to integrate biodiversity into business and investment strategies, in line with the Global Biodiversity Framework and the Nature Restoration Law.
