Architecture was born as a sign of man’s transformation on the landscape, an artificial element in deep relationship with the natural environment that surrounds it. Today more than ever there is a need to re-establish the balance between architecture and landscape<\/strong>, paying particular attention to the protection of the natural environment. This does not mean that the architect should renounce to manipulate the landscape or designing in natural places, but rather it poses a new challenge: to design architectures that are able to capture the uniqueness of the natural characteristics and generate spaces that are in harmony with their environment.<\/p>\n

Organised by the YACacademy<\/a>,\u00a0 the course “Architecture for the Landscape” follows this philosophy, with the aim to train designers capable of responding to this challenge and to the different needs of transforming the territory, through a continuous dialogue with nature. During the course, topics related to natural and geomorphological features will be addressed in order to better understand how to design sustainable architectures that respects the surrounding environment.<\/p>\n

Course lectures include Lucio Brotto of Etifor<\/strong>, who will hold a lecture illustrating protocols and methodologies for reducing the anthropic footprint.<\/p>\n<\/div>
