Discussions will cover climate risk management, adaptation strategies, and the fundamental role of local communities in recovery processes. Her main research areas include destination management, sustainable tourism and slow tourism. At Etifor, she supports destinations and organisations in applying GSTC criteria, having guided several certification processes in recent years \u2013 including that of the Municipality of Siena, the first Italian city of art to obtain GSTC recognition. She currently serves as Vice President of the GSTC Italy Working Group, the Italian network of public and private organisations committed to promoting GSTC standards across the country.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-4\"><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-&#091;1.7&#093;\"><strong>Etifor and the GSTC: an ongoing collaboration<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-&#091;1.7&#093;\">Etifor&#8217;s presence at GSTC2026 is part of a well-established relationship with the Global Sustainable Tourism Council.
