Two days of intense work, creativity, and collaboration marked the final REGENERATE<\/a> Hackathon<\/strong>, held in Tarvisio and organized by the Tourism Promotion Consortium of Tarvisio<\/strong> together with partners NLW Tourismus Marketing GmbH<\/strong>, Alta Badia Tourism Cooperative<\/strong>, and Etifor | Valuing Nature<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Four teams from Italy and Austria came together to address local tourism challenges, developing in just 24 hours ideas that were relevant, feasible, and regenerative<\/strong>. Guided by Etifor\u2019s facilitation and design thinking methodologies<\/strong>, participants worked alongside mentors specialized in regenerative tourism, marketing, and communication\u2014brainstorming late into the night and waking up at dawn in true hackathon spirit.<\/p>\n

The experience was further enriched by the inspiring case of CasaNetural<\/strong>, a Basilicata-based initiative that demonstrates how tourism can spark community building and territorial regeneration.<\/p>\n<\/div>

The final ideas<\/h3>\n

At the end of the event, teams presented their pitches<\/strong> to a panel of experts, proposing innovative solutions to enhance Alpine destinations:<\/p>\n

    transforming the Saifnitz Biolake<\/strong> into an all-year-round attraction (Tarvisio, Udine \u2013 Italy);<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    reducing littering in nature<\/strong> in Carinthia (Austria);<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    enhancing the Burj\u00e9 area<\/strong> in Alta Badia (Bolzano \u2013 Italy);<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    revitalizing the Strada della Vena<\/strong> between Arabba and Colle Santa Lucia (Belluno \u2013 Italy).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>
