Azienda Agricola Cecchetto has been committed since 2017 to understanding and reducing the <\/span>environmental impact of wine production<\/b> through sustainable and innovative practices, ensuring environmentally friendly solutions.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>

The project<\/span><\/h2><\/span>
<\/div><\/div><\/div>

With the help of Etifor, in 2020 the company set a goal of contributing to a <\/span>Climate Positive economy<\/b> by 2040.<\/span><\/p>\n

The company began the journey by<\/span> measuring its CO2 emissions<\/b> through its Carbon Footprint and implementing actions to avoid and reduce them. Since 2020, the energy used in production has come entirely from <\/span>renewable sources,<\/b> including the company’s photovoltaic plant.<\/span><\/p>\n

The company has also invested in <\/span>sustainable forest management<\/b>, certifying its forests FSC\u00ae and verifying their positive impacts through the FSC\u00ae Procedure on Ecosystem Services.<\/span><\/p>\n

Finally, it is committed to <\/span>annually offsetting<\/b> an increasing percentage of its residual emissions by sponsoring international and FSC\u00ae-certified WOWnature forestry projects.<\/span><\/p>\n

From 2024, the company has set even more ambitious goals: to contribute to a <\/span>Nature Positive economy by 2040.<\/b> The path involves measuring <\/span>impacts on water and biodiversity<\/b> and identifying priority areas for action, considering the company’s dependencies on nature. It also includes setting targets to <\/span>reduce impacts<\/b> and a plan to decrease them by implementing and sponsoring activities to neutralise them in local natural areas.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>

Etifor has played a crucial role in helping Cecchetto achieve its environmental goals. Providing<\/span> strategic and technical support<\/b>, Etifor guided the company in implementing sustainability practices and obtaining the necessary environmental certifications.<\/span><\/p>\n

Through the MARC and LUCAS approaches, Etifor helped the company establish long-term sustainability goals and develop <\/span>new business models<\/b> to neutralise its environmental impacts.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>
