In the context of the call for proposals \u201cBiodiversit\u00e0 e Clima\u201d of the Lombardy Region, the Cariplo Foundation gave Etifor the task of implementing a technical assistance service for the beneficiary organisations of the above-mentioned call.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>

THE CALL FOR PROPOSALS<\/p><\/h6><\/span>

With the resolution D.g.r. n.5706 of the 15 December 2021, the Lombardy Region has approved the criteria for the new regional call for proposals \u201cBiodiversity and Climate\u201d (BioClima)<\/strong><\/a>. The criteria have been developed drawing from the experience of the project LIFE IP GESTIRE 2020 <\/a>Azione C21. With this new call for proposals, the Lombardy Region grants non-repayable capital grants to the managing bodies of protected areas and Natura 2000 sites under the law l.r.86\/83 and to public administrations for the realisation of interventions of biodiversity conservation, climate change adaptation, and valorisation of the ecosystem services provided by forests, protected areas, and ecological networks of Lombardy, through the engagement of the private sector<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Based on the criteria of the call for proposals, which have been developed in the context of the LIFE IP GESTIRE 202 Azione C21, the Lombardy Region grants non-repayable capital grants to the managing bodies of protected areas and Natura 2000 sites under the law l.r.86\/83 and to public administrations for the realisation of interventions concerning biodiversity conservation, climate change adaptation, and valorisation of the ecosystem services provided by forests, protected areas, and ecological networks of Lombardy, through the engagement of the private sector.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/i><\/i><\/span>Beneficiaries<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

Public administrations, managing bodies of the Natura 2000 sites, managing bodies of protected areas under the law L.R. 86\/83, exception made for private managing bodies (WWF Oasi Societ\u00e0 unipersonale arl per Valpredina e Vanzago e l\u2019Azienda Faunistico-Venatoria Valbelviso Barbellino) and for ERSAF, which is part of the evaluation committee for this call for proposals. Each beneficiary subject can present one single application.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

The total budget is \u20ac3.5 million (for the years 2022 and 2023).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

The non-repayable capital contribution will be up to 70% of the eligible costs.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/i><\/i><\/span>Type and amount of the subsidy<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

The amount of the subsidy ranges from a minimum of \u20ac105,000 to a maximum of \u20ac350,000; to be used to finance conservation measures consisting of three components:<\/p>\n
