Managing tourism in a sustainable way is like managing an ecosystem: the destination is a tree, i.e. it behaves like a living organism, rooted in the territory, constantly evolving, made up of multiple interconnected parts and functions and endowed with its own identity.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

WHAT IS THE GSTC CERTIFICATION?<\/h2><\/span>

Etifor has been a member of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council since 2019 and an\u00a0official sponsor since 2022<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Global Sustainable Tourism Council<\/a>\u00a0(GSTC) is the international body established by the United Nations Environment Programme and the United Nation World Tourism Organization to\u00a0promote sustainability and social responsibility in tourism<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

WHY GETTING A GSTC CERTIFICATION?<\/h2><\/span>

In tourism, sustainability will increasingly be a synonym for quality. The entire supply chain is implementing actions to improve its impact, but only certification by an independent body \u2013 such as those accredited by GSTC<\/a> \u2013 can give authority to those who have decided to take this path with conviction.<\/p>\n
